Baltic Air and Logistic Company is seeking experienced Logistics Officers with a strong background in shipping and logistics operations. The successful candidates will be responsible for coordinating and managing our shipping and logistics activities to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage shipping and logistics operations.
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
- Maintain shipping records and manage inventory.
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and transportation companies to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics solutions.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations regarding transportation, including hazardous materials.
- Optimize logistics processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipping and logistics.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on logistics performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in logistics, specifically in shipping operations.
- Strong knowledge of logistics software and tools (e.g., TMS, WMS, ERP systems).
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
